Career opportunity at Power Ledger - Middle Office Team Leader & REC Product Manager
The Middle Office Team Leader & REC Product Manager is responsible for managing the project, analyst and product development functions at Power Ledger, and also being the product manager for our REC product family. This person is responsible for maximising the commercial value of the products through their design and deployment, and is responsible for coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market.
Product management involves business strategy, product designer, market analyst, customer liaison, and project manager. The Product Manager is the central point of communication for the product. Internal stakeholders such as founders, project delivery team and business development will rely on the Product Manager to communicate the product features.
You will be responsible for:
Team Management
Run the MO team in line with Power Ledgers business strategy and objectives
Be responsible for and supervise individual team members' work and preferences to ensure the team runs productively while staff members feel valued
Manage performance of team, including timely probation reviews, general reviews, seek feedback from team members on team operations and satisfaction and make adjustments accordingly
Plan for resourcing needs in the future, recruit new team members as needed, in consultation with Directors and Office Manager
You and your team will be responsible for:
Product Owner, Development & Deployment
Product Owners are the central point of communication for the product to develop products and deploy them to market. Our products can be found here: https://www.powerledger.io/our-technology/
Identify and form relationships with stakeholders and first clients to ensure the first deployment of product in the market
Understand the competitive landscape and identify responses
Agree on priorities for upcoming sprints with the Development team during sprint planning
Using Agile processes, draft product specifications and user stories, product requirements and technical specs
Assist in designing technical logic of the system
Map customer journey and onboarding process
Respond to queries from the development team and stakeholders on product requirements and product specifications
Support in pricing decision and financial modelling related to the product
Communicate and sign off with Directors as needed
