Doubling down on blockchain adoption and despite everything happening with COVID-19, Billionaire Investor Tim Draper’s summit goes virtual and pledges to spread mass adoption through the biggest Bitcoin giveaway in history.

Los Angeles, CA – Billionaire investor Tim Draper’s venture studio Draper Goren Holm today announced their annual flagship event LA Blockchain Summit will no longer take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and instead, will enter cyberspace. The West Coast’s largest industry conference that tens of thousands have grown to know and love is going completely digital due to COVID-19 and the importance of prioritizing our attendee’s safety.

To commemorate the summit going virtual, the Los Angeles-based venture studio is extending its limited-time promotion by allowing anyone to get a free ticket to the virtual conference and is pledging to give away $100 in Bitcoin to the first 10,000 qualifying attendees, making it the biggest Bitcoin giveaway in history to date.

LA Blockchain Summit’s mission is to produce world-class experiences, events, and initiatives that promote responsible investing and mass-adoption of blockchain technologies – whether it is in person or online. This October, the annual summit will continue providing a platform for the blockchain industry that fosters exposure, education, collaboration, sustainable investing, and development.

Josef Holm, Founding Partner of Draper Goren Holm and Co-Founder of LA Blockchain Summit states, “With everything going on in the world right now, LA Blockchain Summit’s mission stands strong as we’ll continue pushing all of our efforts to help pave the path to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology mass adoption, regardless if we do it in-person or virtually.”
